High quality print of the original (acrylic on 750mm diameter round panel) painting 'Littoral' 2019 by Anna Priluka. Print dimensions 420mm x 420mm (Large)

- This painting is a journey through the New Zealand intertidal zone, and a celebration of the miriad species that inhabit it. At the top are native dune plants such as glasswort (Sarcocornia quinqueflora), pīngao (Ficinia spiralis) and the purple flowering shore convovulus (Calystegia soldanella). The Māori octopus/wheke (Macroctopus maorum) is one of New Zealand's largest octopus, growing up to 3m in length. It feeds mostly on fish and crustaceans. Further down into the rockpools, we find the bright red waratah anemone (Actinia tenebrosa), the common seaweed Neptune's necklace (Hormosira banksii) and black nerita snails (Nerita melanotragus). In deeper water, a yellowfin leatherjacket (Meuschenia trachylepis) swims amongst bull kelp/rimurapa (Durvillaea antarctica) and sea tulips/kāeo (Boltenia pachydermatina).

Open edition.
All prints have excellent archival properties and are printed in Nelson, New Zealand on 300gsm, 100% post consumer waste recycled stock. Please be aware that because the prints are made on 100% recycled post consumer waste stock, very tiny flecks may be present on some of the paper. I enjoy the natural look this gives and feel it is much preferable to printing on paper made from old-growth forest pulp!
Each is individually signed and monogrammed and comes with a thick board backing, information blurb on rear and enclosed in a 'cellophane' bag for protection. Shipped flat in recycled cardboard packaging.

Thanks :)
